Who is responsible?
National Elite Football Tournaments, operating as National Elite Tournaments, is responsible for the personal information described in this notice.

Information you provide
We request club and team names, boys’ or girls’ category, 2026/27 age group, current league and division, town or city and County FA. The nominated adult representative provides their own name, role, email address and telephone number.
How you heard about us and any message are optional. A live application also records its submission time, reference, confirmation choices and the version of this notice shown.
Do not provide player names, children’s contact details, dates of birth, medical information or photographs. If you send unnecessary information, the owner will remove it when identified.
Why we use your information
We use these details to assess and manage your Summer 2027 expression of interest, communicate with your adult representative, respond to enquiries and prevent misuse of the form. Optional referral information helps us understand how teams find the tournament.
Our lawful basis
Our basis is legitimate interests: organising an invitation-led football tournament, reviewing the teams that ask to be considered, answering their enquiries and protecting the application service. We limit collection to team information and an adult’s contact details, restrict application review to the owner and do not use the form for unrelated marketing.
Providing information is voluntary. We need the required details to assess a team and contact its representative; without them we cannot progress an expression of interest. Optional fields can be left blank.
Who reviews applications?
The owner of National Elite Football Tournaments is the sole authorised application reviewer. Applications are not published, shared with other teams or sold. Decisions are made by the owner; the website does not automatically accept a team, reserve a place or confirm entry.
Storage and service providers
This service uses ChatGPT Sites with Cloudflare infrastructure for website hosting and application storage. Enquiries and the owner’s replies use the existing IONOS business mailbox. These providers process information to operate their services; they do not decide which teams are accepted.
Application information is available through the owner’s protected administration account. There is no public application list or download facility.
Hosting providers operate internationally and may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Their published arrangements provide for adequacy decisions or approved contractual safeguards, including UK transfer provisions where applicable. You can request information about the safeguards relevant to your data at john@nationalelitefootballtournament.co.uk.

How long information is kept
We keep application information while it is needed to assess the team, communicate an outcome and administer the Summer 2027 invitation process. The owner reviews each record when the application closes and again when the tournament’s administration ends, deleting or anonymising information no longer needed.
For withdrawn or unsuccessful applications, retention is limited to resolving related correspondence, requests or complaints. If a specific legal obligation or dispute requires a record to be kept longer, only the information needed for that purpose will be retained. Accepted teams will receive any further participation and privacy information before additional data is requested.
The application database uses hourly, coded rate-limit identifiers rather than storing raw IP addresses in application records. Expired rate-limit records are cleared when new live submissions are processed. Hosting providers may separately process technical connection and security logs under their service arrangements.
Your rights
You can ask to access or correct your information, request its deletion or restriction, and withdraw your team’s expression of interest. Rights depend on the circumstances and are not absolute. Email john@nationalelitefootballtournament.co.uk from the nominated representative’s address where possible; the owner may ask for proportionate verification before disclosing or changing a record.
You can object to the use of your personal information on legitimate-interests grounds. Contact john@nationalelitefootballtournament.co.uk and explain your circumstances. The owner will consider the objection and explain the outcome.
The contact-permission checkbox covers this application only. You can ask us to stop application contact at any time. If you withdraw the expression of interest, the owner will close it and apply the retention criteria above.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies, analytics and social links
No analytics, advertising trackers or embedded social feeds are active. Form values are not saved in browser storage. Facebook and Instagram links open their own websites, which apply their own privacy policies. Essential security or sign-in cookies may be used by the hosting service for protected administration.
Changes to this notice
This notice will be kept consistent with the service in use. Any material change in the purposes or handling of application information will be explained before it takes effect.
